Registration is for both days of the event: Friday, Nov. 15th, 1pm-5pm and Saturday, Nov. 16th, 9am-1pm. The workshop will focus on the multifaceted aspects of global refugee resettlement with a particular emphasis on mental health and integration of student refugees. It will explore migrant's  journeys and the psychological and social stages of trauma experienced. Participants will hear firsthand  accounts from resettled individuals on their journey of the United States becoming their new home. With the global increase in displaced populations, expanding our understanding of diverse refugee experiences and needs is crucial for effective advocacy and support.

This is a two-day event starting on Friday, November 15th, from 1p.m. - 5 p.m. and continuing on Saturday, November 16th, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. This event is co-sponsored by the Center for Global Education and Fellowships and the Social Work Department at Salve Regina University.
