Join Dr. Gabriele-Black to learn more about the Summer in Italy Global Salve Short-Term Program. In this psychology course in Reggio Emilia, students will immerse themselves in the cultural context of Italian childhood, participating in a highly interactive format involving presentations, readings, guest speakers, and tours, while earning 4-6 credits.

Students will learn from Italian professionals in the family services and educational fields who work directly with children. They will take a field trip to the Centro Internazionale Loris Malaguzzi to learn about the values, history, and organization of Reggio Emilia’s approach to early childhood education.  Students will take in the sights, sounds, and tastes on excursions to the historical cities of Bologna and Rimini.
