This program offers students the opportunity to study at Decidedly Jazz Danceworks in Calgary, AB – the home to a professional jazz company and school that has been thriving for 39 years. Students will take classes that explore the jazz continuum through the DJD aesthetic while also learning about the business and art of running a nonprofit company and school. Learn the business of how a professional company, professional training program, and community program function within a non-profit organization. Excursions include visiting Banff National Park where students can explore the Canadian Rocky Mountains and glacial lakes and streams.
