Join us on April 4^th, as Salve Regina University honors Senator Jack Reed with the Claiborne Pell Center Award, in recognition of his faithful service to the people of Rhode Island and the United States of America. 

As part of the ceremony, Senator Reed will sit down for an interview with Pell Center Executive Director Jim Ludes for a conversation about his career, the health of American democracy, and the challenges facing the United States in 2024.

The Claiborne Pell Center Award is a unique honor given only twice in the 26-year history of the Pell Center, first, to His Holiness the 14^th Dalai Lama in 2005, and subsequently to Nuala O’Donnell Pell, Senator Pell’s widow and partner in life and politics in 2013.
