he Newport Prevention Coalition and Salve Health Promotion & Prevention are hosting a free 30-minute training on Overdose Response and Naloxone (Narcan) Administration in the Ochre Court Library.  
This training is relevant to all campus community members and so we would like to extend this invitation to each of your offices/staff. Overdoses can occur anywhere and knowing how to respond quickly can save a life. 
The session will cover:

• How to recognize signs of an opioid overdose
• How to safely administer naloxone (Narcan)
• Information about local resources and support for substance use and recovery
• What is the Good Samaritan Law?
