How is our human dignity obscured through the sin of racism? How does Salve's Mercy and Catholic tradition of education shape our call and response to racial injustice? Join Dr. Gloria Purvis (Hon '24) for this year's Mercy Tea,  unpacking the persistent moral challenge of racism in our community and nation and considering together how the work of racial justice is central to our mission as a Mercy and Catholic University.

A light lunch of tea sandwiches, soup and salad will be served. Dr. Purvis will share her keynote reflection after which we will all be invited to reflect together on the call and work of racial justice in our own lives and the Salve community. All are welcome!
