Welcome to the 2025 edition of Salve Regina University’s French Film Festival. As 2024-2025 marks the 80^th anniversary of the liberation of France and the end of World War II, this academic year we have chosen six films that concern, in one way or another, that critical turning point in French history and culture.

On opening night, a wine-and-cheese reception will be held after our first film, Au revoir les enfants, while our Sunday matinee in week two, Le Dernier Métro, will be preceded by a pastry-and-coffee reception.

All films will be screened on campus in the O’Hare Academic Building’s Bazarsky Lecture Hall.
