Faculty Spotlight: Robert Hehl, lecturer in Salve's Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology, enjoyed a long and decorated career in public service, notably as an intelligence officer in multiple U.S. government agencies, including 18 years as a counterterrorism and counterintelligence officer with the FBI. He created a remarkable program for Salve students: after teaching students a broad array of skills central to intelligence gathering and interpretation, he gives Salve students the opportunity to brief actual government intelligence and security officials. This includes briefings at FBI field offices. In this event, he will discuss his program, giving us insight and inspiration to plan similar experiences for students in other disciplines All faculty (full-time and adjunct), staff, or community members are welcome.
